Botox is great for treating frown
lines, crow's feet, forehead wrinkles, neck bands, and bleed lines.
Botox works by blocking nerve impulses that makes muscles contract.
Injecting this medication into certain facial muscles causes them to be
temporarily weakened, reducing their movement. With less movement, the
skin over the muscle gradually smoothes out, fading out the frown lines
and wrinkles.
With Botox, the injection process consists of three to eight tiny
injections per area are required. Discomfort is minimal and brief, but
your skin can be numbed with cream or a cold pack if desired. You may
resume normal activity immediately. Results last 3-4 months.
Juvederm is an injectable gel under the
skin to instantly restore your skin's volume and smooth away facial
wrinkles and folds, like your "smile lines" or "parenthese" (nasolabial
folds - the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners
of your mouth). Juvederm is a smooth consistency gel made of
hyaluronic acida naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps
to add volume and hydration. It also provides a smooth, natural look
and feel.
With Juvederm, the injection process takes only about 15 minutes and
results are immediate. Plus, there's minimal recovery or downtime. So
you can step into the spa for treatment and step right back into your
life. Results last 6 months.
Radiesse is great for treating facial
wrinkles, depressed scars, sunken cheeks, hollow eyes, marionette lines
and nasolabial folds. Radiesse is made with smooth calcium
hydroxylapatite, which is suspended in an aqueous based gel that stays
soft and malleable long after injection. Because calcium is a natural
mineral found in our bones, it will not cause any allergic reactions and
is completely biodegradable. Additionally, the body naturally grows
tissue around Radiesse without absorbing it, keeping the implant in
place until it completely disintegrates.
With Radiesse, the area is injected using a tiny needle. Once
implanted, this filler lifts away wrinkles, fills in scar depressions,
and enhances cheeks by adding volume and fullness beneath the skin to
restore youthful contours and fullness. Radiesse can effectively lift
and revitalizing deep lines along the nasolabial folds (smile lines),
and remove marionette or puppet lines that can become very deep and
pronounced from the outer lip to the chin. Results last 6 months or
more.
Restylane is great for treating facial
wrinkles, folds around nose and mouth, fine lines, skin creases,
depressed scars, thin lips, nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that already exists in your body
that provides volume and fullness to the skin. These crystal-clear gels
are safe, biodegradable and fully biocompatible with human hyaluronic
acid. Restylane restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct
moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.
Also effective for plumping lips.
With Restylane, the procedure is simple and results are instantaneous.
Tiny amounts of product are injected directly into the skin by an
ultrafine needle. To minimize discomfort, we recommend a local
anesthestic, especially for treatment around the mouth. Results last 6
months or more.

Intense Pulsed Light has been shown to
decrease redness, minimize broken capillaries, decrease the size of
enlarged pores, reduce dark circles under the eyes, lighten age or brown
spots, and improve fine lines caused by premature aging or sun damage
through stimulation of natural collagen production within the skin.
The pulsed light laser emits gentle pulses of light energy combined
with heat directly onto the skin surface. Most patients feel a heat
sensation during the treatment that is not painful. Others may
experience slight discomfort, usually described as a momentary sting, or
like the snapping of a rubber band against the skin. A topical
anesthetic and/or cooling device is available to minimize discomfort.
Protective eyewear is used during all phototherapy treatments. Skin
phototherapy treatments are most often spaced three weeks apart, for
four to six sessions. Additional touch-up treatments may be necessary to
help maintain the desired effect after a year or more.

Laser Hair Removal is great for
removing unwanted hair. Laser hair removal using LHE technology combines
intense pulsed light (IPL) and heat energy to minimize the growth and
appearance of unwanted facial or body hair. Flashes of broad spectrum
light and heat target the root of the hair itself. The light selectively
targets the pigment (melanin) in the hair, elevating the temperature of
the hair follicle. Heat is deposited into the skin and conducted down
the hair shaft, which further increases the hair follicle temperature
and coagulates the hair bulge and hair bulb. The result is subsequent
destruction of the hair follicle, so hair can no longer grow.
It is important to understand that the skin will not be completely
hair-free following one treatment. Hairs that remain will eventually
fall out or are reabsorbed by the body through a natural process over
the next several weeks. A single treatment will not be enough to remove
hair for any length of time. It takes a series of treatments, usually an
average of 4-8, possibly more, to best achieve effective hair removal.
Multiple treatments are required because hair grows in "cycles". The
hair has an active-growing stage alternating with a resting stage. Hair
growth can only be affected by light while in its active stage at the
time of the treatment. Since many of the hairs at the time of treatment
may be in their resting stage, they will not be affected by the LHE
until a future treatment.
